PETER M. GRANT II

Vice Chairman

Mr. Grant has over thirty years of experience in private equity investing, investment banking and capital markets transactions. He is a founding partner of Anchormarck Holdings LLC. He was a founding partner of Stone Arch Capital, LLC. Prior to forming Stone Arch Capital, Peter served as U.S. Chairman of RBC Capital Markets, as President and Chief Operating Officer of Dain Rauscher Wessels and on the Executive and Operating Committees of both firms. In these roles, he was responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of a global investment banking and equity capital markets institution, including primary P&L responsibility and management of over 1,100 people. He has been a member of the New York Stock Exchange, served on the Management Committee of Royal Bank Capital Partners, and was the Managing Partner of DRW Venture Partners, LLC. In addition, he was on the Board of Directors of Tamir Fishman & Company (the largest investment bank in Israel) and the Advisory Board of Tamir Fishman Ventures. Prior to RBC Capital Markets/Dain Rauscher Wessels, he had a distinguished career as a Managing Director in the equity capital markets divisions of Credit Suisse First Boston and UBS in New York. Peter is a board member and immediate Past Board Chair of Global Impact, an international relief agency based in Washington, D.C., and serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Minnesota Foundation Investment Advisors. He is the immediate Past Chair of the Board of Managers of the Alumni Association of the University of Virginia. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Darden School. Peter is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
